Helpful Tips & FAQ's

  • Scheduling & Making Purchases:  For your convenience Mauro Pilates offers online payment and scheduling. We also offer Pilates Memberships which is the most affordable way to visit us regularly. If you’d like information on our memberships, please give us a call! 512.537.0009

  • Classes: Class reservations can be made online up to 1 hour before class. You may also call or walk-in. If this is your first time at Mauro Pilates, please arrive 10 minutes before class. We are unable to guarantee walk-in spots and recommend signing up for group classes online to ensure your spot. Occasionally there are time or instructor changes so please be sure to view our online class schedule or your account for the most updated class schedule. We keep our classes small with a maximum of 4 people so everyone gets lots of 1-on-1 attention. Unless otherwise noted, all classes are 55 minutes long.

  • Appointments: Appointments for 1-3 people can be made online up to 24-hours before your requested time. If you’d like to book a session within that window or don’t see a time that works send us a note with your preferred day and time and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

  • Cancellation Policy: Classes have a 12-hour cancellation policy and Appointments have a 24-hour cancellation policy. When you cancel on time, the visit will be returned to your account. If you don’t cancel on time you will lose your class or be charged. If you have an Unlimited Membership, you will be charged $15 for a late cancellation. If you are registered for a class or appointment and fail to attend without giving any notice of cancellation, a $15 ‘No Show’ fee will be charged in addition to the late cancellation fee or visit deduction. We really don’t like doing this so please let us know if you aren’t able to attend your scheduled time!

  • Late Arrivals to Class: Returning clients may enter class up to 10 minutes late. Returning clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may not take class and will be deducted a visit from their pass or charged the late cancel fee. We adhere strictly to this policy for the safety of our clients. We understand that schedules can be hectic so we recommend allowing extra time for traffic congestion, parking and preparing for class.

  • Noise & Child Policy: We strive to keep a peaceful studio atmosphere so kindly ask that you keep your cell phone silenced. If you need to make a phone call, please step outside. Because we don’t have a dedicated child care facility, we’re unable to allow children who are not taking a session at the studio.

  • Class Waitlist: If you are prompted to sign up for a waitlist, we recommend signing up because the waitlist works! If a class is full, sign-up anyway and you’ll be added to the waitlist. As soon as a spot opens up, you’ll automatically be added to class and notified via e-mail and/or text (depending on the preference you set in your online profile). If you do not remove yourself from the waitlist online, you’ll be added to the class so if you are unable to attend please remove yourself from the waitlist so someone else can  join. We assume you want to take EVERY class you are waitlisted for.

  • Specials: Occasionally Mauro Pilates offers discounts for a limited period of time. These are not redeemable for cash and not to be combined with other offers.

  • Gift Cards: Mauro Pilates has gift cards available for purchase at the studio.

Studio Policies

  • Scheduling: All class reservations and appointments are based on availability. Instructors, times and classes are subject to change without notice and no guarantees are made as to the availability of any instructor. We reserve the right to cancel a class if 0 or 1 person is signed up.

  • Returned Checks and Late Fee: Please note that a $25.00 fee will be applied to all returned checks and late payments.

  • Price Increases: Mauro Pilates may increase monthly membership dues upon a sixty (60) day notice.

  • Refund Policy: All sales are non-refundable.

  • Merchandise Return Policy: All sale items are final. Exchanges and returns will be accepted on full priced merchandise within 14 days if unworn, with tags attached and presented with a receipt.
