Our instructors have successfully worked with clients who are recovering from rotator cuff injuries, SI joint injuries, knee injuries, and back injuries. We have also assisted clients reduce pain caused from foot cramping, plantarfasciitis, bulging discs, and tight neck/shoulders. At Mauro Pilates we believe the best way to serve the injured client is to work as a team to achieve the desired outcome and often refer and work towards the same goals with physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and other bodyworkers. If you are struggling with an injury, please don’t hesitate to reach out for referrals.
Part of the requirement of being an instructor at Mauro Pilates is to continually increase knowledge through workshops, articles, books, and consultation with other professionals like chiropracters, physical therapists, and pilates/yoga instructors. We recognize that Pilates is not the right path for everyone and if we find that a client isn’t beginning to find relief after a few sessions, we will refer to another professional. It is of utmost importance to us that clients find relief from their pain whether that is at Mauro Pilates or not.
