Courtney was first introduced to Pilates as a ballet dancer studying with Joffrey Ballet’s Summer Workshop in San Antonio, TX. She dove a little deeper into her practice in college and continued falling in love with the benefits of Pilates not only for her ballet technique, but also for her overall health and well being. After college Courtney decided to make this “hobby” a lifestyle and completed the Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) certification program.
Courtney taught for studios in Austin and Washington, D.C., then took a brief break from teaching to work in Recruiting and start a family. A rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis and worsening posture from a desk job made her realize she needed Pilates back in her life and she needed it fast! Courtney took classes throughout her pregnancy, regaining muscular strength to combat her joint damage from RA and as soon as her doctor cleared her for postpartum exercise, she found herself back in the studio.
Courtney truly loves sharing her passion for Pilates with her clients. Whether you’re looking for a challenging workout, want to focus on a particular goal, or you’ve never tried Pilates before and want to know what it’s all about, she wants to be your partner in your Pilates experience!
When she’s not in the studio, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outside, exploring the endless possibilities of chalk paint and working with Beautycounter to spread the word about safer skincare.
