I have been doing Pilates for one year at Mauro Pilates and I cannot say enough good things about my experience and results! I have struggled in the past with finding exercise that is fun, effective, AND makes my body feel good. Pilates combines these aspects beautifully. I love that my sessions challenge me (I love a good workout!) but also leave me feeling renewed. I have grown physically stronger and fitter. I am more flexible and less achy and stiff. I am more in-tune with my body and have more awareness of my posture in day to day activities. It's been so great to make progress and feel encouraged along the way by the amazing staff. I keep coming back not only for the physical results I'm getting, but because it is so much fun! The studio is a joyful place and the laughs I have there are good for my soul!
Wow! As a physical therapist, I've been exposed to a lot of Pilates workouts and studios, and I am incredibly impressed with everyone at Mauro Pilates. Very professional yet very fun. Incredibly skilled in accommodating for various injuries/pain. Will definitely be sending clients their way.
I started doing Pilates 2-3 times a week and was surprised to see the effects it had on my posture and core strength in such a short time. The studio is very clean and has all of the best equipment. Scheduling is also very easy because they use MindBody online.
Mauro Pilates is the best pilates studio in Austin. Liana is extremely personable and knowledgeable. The studio space is the perfect size and the instructors go out of their way to tailor the classes to your needs. I can't say enough about how amazing Liana and her studio are!
I have tried barre, running, p90x, & other various workout dvds, but nothing came close to toning my full body in that short amount of time and the soreness was proof of it! I lost one dress size in a month just by attending class twice a week. I just love that my clothes are fitting the way they're supposed to.
Liana is great at creating and modifying workouts to fit your needs, goals, and skill level. Don't think that you will get bored after a few weeks like with most workout routines. She will have new workouts to show you in no time so always expect a different challenge every time you attend class.
I am not the most flexible person in the world, but Liana helps modify the moves for me so that I am in a comfortable position and not straining my lower back. She also corrects your body position/alignment if you are slightly off so that you are getting the full benefits of the workout.
