Liana has been practicing Pilates since 1998. Her mom, also an avid Pilates lover, was the first to introduce her to this form of movement. Bored with conventional fitness and unable to find relief from chronic pain with traditional medicine, Liana is regularly on the hunt for new and exciting ways to stay in shape as well as apply alternative healing methods. Liana has enjoyed the healing process so much that she left her job as a psychotherapist to become a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor. Liana has studied under Chau Pham-Kid, STOTT PILATES® Fully Certified Instructor Trainer and Madeline Black, founder of ITT® Pilates.
Passionate about working with clients who have varying needs, Liana assesses individuals’ movement patterns to customize workouts that achieve balance, pain reduction, and lean, strong muscles. She also specializes in targeting and toning difficult areas, meeting weight loss goals, and training for specific sports and events. She has successfully helped clients with chronic pain and injuries including knee, SI joint, lower back, rotator cuff, neck, and plantar fasciitis. She has also brought Pilates into the world of Paddle Boards (Paddle Pilates) and developed a Pilates program for kids.
Combining multiple techniques with an enthusiasm for fitness, Liana is committed to sharing her joy of Pilates. Liana has discovered her passion in Pilates and daily strives to bring it to more people in ways that are accessible, unique, and fun.
