Quickly after stepping onto a paddle board for my first time, I realized it was a special sport. Anytime I’m on the water, I experience such joy and relaxation and I was able to combine this feeling of tranquility with a workout! Being the Pilates aficionado that I am, I soon found myself doing ab workouts, planks, and other Pilates moves on the board and realized this was something special that needed to be shared with my clients.
I’ve talked to some newbies who are intimidated by the Pilates component and I promise it’s beginner, intermediate, and advanced level friendly! As always, with Pilates, it’s easy to adjust to whoever is in class so that no matter who is there, you’re going to get a good workout and be able to do the moves (promise!)
Summer is quickly coming to an end and with the end of summer means the end of Paddle Pilates for 2011. If you haven’t yet been able to try it, please contact me and set something up before this awesome season ends!
